8. Organization and Governance
The Out of Area Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, which oversees its activities and ensures compliance with the organization's mission and values.
The Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization and the implementation of established policies and strategies.
The Project Leaders volunteer their time and expertise to support the organization's mission.
The organization's finances are managed according to strict guidelines and procedures, with regular auditing and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
9. Communication and Information
We use various communication channels and resources, including social media and our website.
10. Allocation of the liquidation balance
The allocation of the liquidation balance is the Dutch Cancer Society.
One in three people in the Netherlands is diagnosed with cancer. We are increasingly able to cure the disease, but approximately 45,000 people still die from cancer each year. This makes it the number one cause of death in the Netherlands. The Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) is committed to combating cancer through scientific research, information, and support.
Therefore, if the Out of Area Foundation ever ceases to exist, we want to donate our liquidation balance to the Royal Dutch Cancer Society.
