Our volunteers not only assist during project implementation but often also during preparations in the Netherlands. We have a project for everyone (school, company, or individual) that perfectly matches their interests, field of study, or educational program.
Participants in our projects will develop their own action plans during the preparation phase. They will recruit sponsors, raise awareness, and prepare the educational and/or construction activities or internships themselves.
Project locations
Examples of project locations include schools, community centers, daycare centers, youth centers, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and institutions for people with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Georgia, which could benefit from our assistance. Projects in Ukraine and Moldova are currently underway.
Projectca talogu s
The projects are identified by teachers, doctors, school principals, and others who live in the area and are knowledgeable about local issues and needs. They ensure that the correct information is included in our project catalog.
Matching. By "matching," we mean placing a group with a suitable project. We consider the program's specialization. The number of participants and their initiatives are also taken into account. This maximizes the impact.

The meaning of our Logo
The hands in our logo aren't just symbols. They represent four children the foundation has followed and supported since childhood: three girls of Bosniak, Bosnian Croat, and Roma descent, and a boy of Bosnian Serb background: Lejla, Nejla, Sabrina, and Milosh.
The circle formed by their hands emphasizes unity and equality: everyone belongs, regardless of background or situation. Their four hands symbolize connection and collaboration, representing different backgrounds, ages, and cultures meeting and supporting each other.
The logo expresses solidarity, friendship and help, values that the Out of Area Foundation promotes in all its projects.
