Hiking Prenj

Want to reach new heights? Then take a hike on Prenj, also known as the Herzegovina Himalaya. This hike is part of the Via Dinarica, a 2,000-kilometer-long trail through Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Slovenia. Bjelasnica and Prenj are the two mountain ranges between Sarajevo and Mostar that are part of a larger mountain range: the Dinaric Alps. You'll set off with a guide, who will determine the length and difficulty of the hike together. After transport to the starting point, you'll trek with your guide through the meadows and slopes of Prenj. Suitable for beginners and seasoned hikers alike, you'll stop for photos, pass through mountain hamlets, and hear stories about the surrounding landscapes you'd miss alone.
Stari Most Mostar

The Stari Most, also known as the "Old Bridge," is Mostar's most famous and important landmark. Built in the 16th century, the Stari Most became one of the most important cities in the region after its construction. During the Bosnian War, the bridge was completely destroyed. Under UNESCO's guidance, it was restored to its former glory, largely using remnants of the Old Bridge. Since 2004, the bridge has been open to the public again, and it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005. The bridge and the Old Town have since become symbols of reconciliation, international cooperation, and the coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious communities.
Boracko Lake

After exploring the town of Konjic, you'll head up the mountain to Boracko Jezero. It's a magical place to visit. The natural lake, where motorized water sports are prohibited, is an oasis of tranquility and a wonderful place for swimming and walking.
Tito's bunker

If you're interested in Yugoslav history, be sure to visit Tito's Bunker. This nuclear bunker is hidden in the mountains near Konjic and is one of the biggest state secrets of the former Yugoslavia. Tito feared a nuclear attack and commissioned the construction of "ARK D-0" for billions of dollars. The nuclear attack never materialized, and Tito died before the bunker was completed. The bunker was never put into use, making it a pointless project. However, the bunker has been open to the public for several years now. During a tour, we learned more about this bizarre project.
Kravica watervallen

Few places are as unique as the Kravica Waterfalls. The waterfalls reach a height of 25 meters and a width of approximately 250 meters. The Kravica Waterfalls are actually made up of many smaller waterfalls. Together, these waterfalls flow into the Trebižat River, forming an arc of over a hundred meters. The surrounding nature is beautiful and unspoiled. Few places in Bosnia-Herzegovina are as green and unique. These waterfalls are ideal for a refreshing dip or for relaxing. Fancy a drink after your swim? That's also possible. There are several restaurants on site where you can enjoy the view while enjoying a snack and a drink.
Canyoning rakitnica

Canyoning is an adrenaline-filled activity that takes place in the Rakitnica River canyon, away from the hustle and bustle of Konjic and its surroundings. Canyoning combines activities such as swimming, diving, climbing, hiking, and jumping into the water. The Rakitnica Canyon is the second deepest canyon in Europe and takes canyoning to the ultimate level. Rakitnica is a physically demanding and technical canyon with a high adrenaline factor, full of new surprises in untouched nature – definitely a feeling worth experiencing.
