"A freelance interpreter. As I live in Bosnia, I recognize the needs in my community for current and future projects. I play an active role in being the liaison with local authorities and other stakeholders. Overall, I collaborate with the Director of "Foundation Out of Area". Our primary objective is to improve the quality of, and access to, equal opportunities for all children in Bosnia."

"For me, my work as a change agent is dedicated to helping others less fortunate and transform their lives and communities together. I come from a country that witnessed many decades of conflict, which contributed to high rates of poverty and other social problems. My goal is to reach those in need! My cause shines through my heart. There is a feeling of pride and honour that I am a part of the small change that brings better opportunities for a post war country, where hardly any money is distributed to devastated schools and institutions for children with special needs. I feel grateful that my job allows me to see how the work of volunteers and other individuals brings inspiration to other people as well. I’m happy to have a role that reflects my values and beliefs. When you change a child’s life positively and lighten the darkness they experienced, you inspire them to be stronger and more creative by remembering all of you whom created that change."

"Almost a decade ago, I made a trip to Holland with kids from the orphanage in Zenica. These less fortunate children were given the opportunity to see a world where they were treated equally. I will never forget the smiles and transformation they experienced when they were treated by others like they wished to be treated."

"About one of many initiatives from Out of Area in Bosnia. This shows the benefits of working together towards the same goal. Small steps for individuals, but broader goals for humanity. Out of Area works with teachers, parents and local communities to help all children in Bosnia. This to help them develop their full potential, contribute positively in changing the world and to be lifelong learners."

"Knowing that because of our programs a child won´t go to grey dull classroom helps us know that we are a part of the change we want to see in the world. I count myself very lucky to be a part of a program that is providing the basic needs for the most vulnerable children. I get a lot of satisfaction when I see them smile as they receive basic things."
