TRAVELLING WITH MEDICATION
If you are travelling with medication that falls under the Dutch Opium Act, you must obtain a Schengen certificate or an English-language medical certificate, depending on your destination.
Examples of controlled medication include sleeping pills, strong painkillers, ADHD medication and medicinal cannabis.
A medication passport provides an overview of the medicines you use and can be helpful if you need to visit a pharmacy or doctor abroad. However, it does not replace an official medical certificate.
